Fifteen arrested for boycotting Dalits

Hyderabad: Police has arrested 15 people in Alampur village of Medak district for social boycott of Dalit families. The information was given by home minister in the AP state assembly. Minister Jena Reddy in reply to a question about law and order situation said that upper caste Hindus became angry when some Dalit families tried to enter a temple for worship. He assured members of the assembly that government would protect the rights and dignity of Dalits. «
